Tank magazine is legendary in the fashion world, which reinvents itself every decade, and it was with great honour to create and refine the masthead for a season of publications.

Working with the creative team at Tank, the mission was to take existing typography found in the designs and evolve a new masthead and full typeface. This is a wonderful process, crafting the shapes and forms in each letter, and discovering the commonality between letters, so this forms a full family.

Special characters were created to be at the heart of the masthead design, and the rest of the typeface followed.
